This California Privacy Notice applies to personal information collected by Tech Simian about California consumers through our website techsimian.com and associated services, including our newsletter. It is effective as of January 1, 2023 and is updated to reflect the CPRA amendments effective January 1, 2023.

We do not sell your personal information for monetary compensation. However, under the CCPA/CPRA's broad definition, sharing personal information with advertising technology partners for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes may constitute a "sale" or "share." We may share certain data with our native advertising distribution partners, including Outbrain, in ways that could fall within this definition.

Verification: We will need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. For requests submitted by email, we will ask you to confirm the email address associated with your account or interactions. For requests involving specific personal data, we may require additional verification steps.
Authorized agents: You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require written authorization or power of attorney, and may verify your identity directly.
